Our Story

Ethiopian plywood was established in 1962G.C by Italians with the main objective of processing of plywood using the huge forest resource that the country had. On February 1975G.C legal entity was transferred to the government. As the government's policy to privatize the government enterprises to private sector, Ghion Gas PLC, has acquired the enterprise in January 2009G.C.

The major objectives of the enterprise is to manufacture quality products and be competitor and profitable in the sector by giving top priority to customers’ satisfaction.
Our Mission

- To manufacture and sell plywood from various species of trees, chair seats and back furniture products, and pallets for warehouses.
- To engage in activities that support the vision and ensure profitability.
- To produce high-quality products that meet customer requirements.
- To participate in afforestation activities to preserve Ethiopia's forest resources and sustain the wood industry.
